The Stampin' Up! Banner Simply Created kits were not on my wish list...and then I went to the Stampin' Up! Convention. Sara Douglass demonstrated making the banners and I loved her stepped up version of the Christmas banner. Fast forward....guess what I ordered-yep, the banner kits.
Halloween is not my favorite day ( as the daughter of a dentist, we were not allowed to go trick or treating)....but my kids loved it and so do many of my customers. So last night I pulled out the Build A Banner Simply Created Kit and Halloween Banner Simply Created Accessory Kit-and made a banner-quick, easy and so much fun! Each of the pennants are 5" wide so the finished banner is a nice size-looks awesome on my mantel. The only extra item I needed was a hot glue gun. I used sponge daubers and Classic Black, Pumpkin Pie and Summer Starfruit inkpads to color my banners. You could use Stampin' Up! spritzers with a mixture of rubbing alcohol and re-inkers instead of the ink and daubers.
There are 18 pennants in the Build a Banner Simply Created Kit-so you could make a banner that said Happy Birthday or any other phrase you wanted-the possibilities are endless. Decorate with ribbons, buttons, designer series paper...imagine a welcome home banner...
Order your kits today or watch for an upcoming class with the option to make the Halloween or Christmas Banner....or both. Or join Stampin' Up! before the end of August and choose one of these project kits for free.
Hope you are enjoying the long weekend!
